About Us...
The Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild was established in September of 1990 as a way to share ideas and inspire each other to keep the art of quilt making alive.
Meetings
The Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at Custer Lutheran Fellowship's Fireside Room, which is located approximately 3 miles East of Custer, SD on Hwy 16A.
We gather at 1:00PM to check-in UFO's with the business meeting following at 1:30PM.
Membership
Dues are $10 for an annual calendar year membership.
(Names will be removed from our mailing and membership lists if we haven't received membership dues by March 1st of the current calendar year.)

Training and Classes
The Piecemakers Quilt Guild promotes quilting knowledge and advancement in the art through training and classes.
Class fees are generally the responsibility of each member registering for a particular class.

Community Service
QUILTS OF VALOR
Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild registered with the Quilts of Valor organization in 2013 with the primary purpose of making and donating quilts to disabled veterans who vacation at
Operation Black Hills Cabin in Custer.
Kathleen Kowalski is the primary contacts for this project.
Phillis Terrell provides Table Runners to individuals that received quilts previously.
QUILTS FOR KIDS
Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild donates quilts to children in foster care.
Phillis Terrell is the primary contact for this project.
PILLOWCASES
Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild, in conjunction with Monument Health Custer Hospital, makes bright, colorful, and age-appropriate pillowcases for children who are hospitalized overnight. The pillowcases are sent home with the children.
Karen Krause is the primary contact for this project.
FAMILIES IN NEED
Custer Piecemakers Quilt Guild provides a quilt to local families who suffer loss of their home through disaster or fire.
